Girls Disaster Day

Description

The Voluntary Fire Brigade DHZ POLE believes girls and women are the key force in making homes safer and communities more resilient. Honouring their contribution and hoping to inspire more girls to join voluntary rescue units in their communities, we are holding a special Girls Day at our Fire Brigade on the occasion of IDDR, that will include an intro into first aid training and workshop on disaster preparedness basics. Our strategic aim is to involve more girls into disaster prevention and management and ultimately have a women led rescue team one day. Because we believe in the added value of joint forces :)
