Hon. Maria Emilly Lubega Mutagamba is Minister of Water and Environment of Uganda. She is the first woman to be appointed Minister of Water in her country.

She has also been President of the African Ministers’ Council on Water for the last two years. She is a strong advocate for water issues in Africa and has been promoting the WaSH message at both national and international levels.
