Activities in Trinidad and Tobago

The Network of Rural Women Producers Trinidad and Tobago (NRWPTT) hosted a Brunch, to commemorate the international Days in October, namely October 13 DR Women and Girls on the Map, October 15th -International Rural Women's Day, October 16 - World Food Day and October 17 "Stand up for Poverty Day.
All these International Days impact on rural women - we therefore invited a main speaker to set the pace before inviting questions and comments then discussions on the role of women and girls, it was well received and we agreed to have follow-up action to assist the victims of all female single headed house holds whose homes and/or livelihood were destroyed by this year's flooding, landslides, erosion and other losses.
