This year WorldFish, University of Dhaka and SDC have joined together to observe the International Day for Disaster Reduction (IDDR2012) on Oct 13 by co-hosting a national rally and a seminar held at University of Dhaka. The Vice Chancellor and Pro-vice Chancellor of Dhaka University will be present as Chief Guests. Craig Meisner and Matthias Anderegg will be Special Guests at the Seminar and Kevin Kamp will make a presentation on WorldFish contributions to improve gender equity, increasing productivity and combating disaster in Bangladesh in support of the IDDR2012, ‘Women & Girls - The Invisible Force of Resilience’.
